Carbon Washington has collected 191,000 total signatures to qualify Initiative 732 for the November 2016 ballot. The campaign needs nearly 247,000 signatures by the end of the year in order to qualify and plans on gathering a total of 330,000 in order to compensate for any signatures deemed invalid.
“We were pleased with our August results and campaign momentum continues to build,” said Kyle Murphy, co-director of Carbon Washington. “Volunteers are critical to the campaign’s success. I-732 wouldn’t be able to qualify for the ballot without their help.”
