Here’s the fourth post of a new series to help you get to know CarbonWA just a little better.

Each week, a member of the CarbonWA team will be doing a Q&A. This week is Savannah, our intern in the Seattle office.

Q: How long have you been involved with CarbonWA?
A: Summer 2014
Q: What CarbonWA chapter are you involved with?
A: Seattle – working mostly with students and schools.
Q: What is your main form of transportation?
A: Driving.
Q: Why climate change?
A: This is ultimately going to affect my generation the most, and it is not fair to treat Mother Earth this way given what she has provided us. Animals are going extinct, ecosystems are being destroyed, and it is our responsibility to clean up a mess even if we didn’t make it.
Q: What is your spirit animal?
A: My family thinks I am a raccoon because I look cute and cuddly on the outside, but I can be  feisty when I want to make a point or accomplish something.
Q: Are you a tumbleweed or a potted plant?
A: I believe I am a tumbleweed – I’m always moving and don’t know where I’m going until an opportunity presents itself.
Q: Where could we find you on a Saturday afternoon?
A: Hiking in the great Pacific Cascades!
Q: Favorite trip?
A: River rafting down the Grand Canyon.
