We’ve been gearing up for our ballot push and have already been meeting hundreds of new carbon tax friends. So if you are new to the Yes On 732 campaign be sure to check out our website (yeson732.org), visit our FAQ page to get your questions answered, and don’t forget to join a chapter near you to help us spread the word!
Hello carbon tax friends: It’s official, the legislature has adjourned the 2016 special session and I-732 is going to the ballot! The AP wrote about it here.
As a result of I-732 and its supporters, republicans, democrats, business, industry, environmentalists, and others all got into deeply productive discussions about climate change. Ultimately, we were reminded what we realized long ago – that I-732 is the strongest policy concept around. Our discussions provided a foundation for building support for I-732 starting with 46th legislative district Rep. Jessyn Farrell….
“I support the concept and urgency behind I-732. We must act on climate to protect future generations in a way that safeguards funding for vital services, ensures a just transition for workers and benefits communities of color that are impacted by climate change. I-732 is a good first step towards that goal.”
So Now What? Volunteer!:

Fundraising For Our Future:
What better way to help raise funds than to throw a House Party! Email [email protected] to get on the calendar. As Kyle said last week “to compete at the ballot we will need to continue to raise fund aggressively.” The better we do this as a team the less you will hear about in our emails!
We are also looking for a dedicated and experienced volunteer to coordinate house parties for us. If you, or someone you know is interested, please email [email protected].
